MEET THE DUCKS-OCT. 12, 2007 For a second year, The Cannery kicked of the hockey season with a fundraising event for the Anaheim Ducks. Proceeds from the event went to Register Charities and Ducks Care, a fund of the McCormick Tribune Foundation. Select members of the team and coaching staff attended. Check back for a 2008-09 season kick-off event.
HOT STOVE LEAGUE- 4th Annual Four nights filled with food, fun and baseball stories from some of the greatest players & legends! Hosted by Doug Decinies. Past guests have included: Dale Petroskey, Bud Black, Eddie Murray, Robin Roberts, Arte Moreno, Nolan Ryan, Bob Motley, Tim Salmon & Frank Robinson.

MARINES MESS NIGHT- 2007 The purpose of Mess Night is to recognize and pay homage to the Marines that came before us. It is said that the tradition started in 1953 when members of the 3rd Regiment Combat Team met with the commandant of the Marine Corps. over dinner with the British Royal Marines and turned into a big competition over the evening. Today it has turned into an event filled with laughs, toasts and respect for those who battled before us.
SPEAK: PHILANTHROPIC SOCIAL CLUB An event to strengthen Working Wardrobes, a non-profit organization that helps more than 30,000 adults that experience various levels of catastrophy.
